About Colton Computers
Picture this: it’s November 2005, and 15-year-old Mitch Colton is fixing computers for his friends in his parents’ basement. Before long, his friends’ friends are seeking his assistance. Mitch and his Mum have organised an ABN and business name because 15-year-olds can’t run their own businesses!
As Mitch’s HSC came around, in addition to studying, Mitch was installing PCs and a server in a medical centre. By 2010, Colton Computers grew beyond a team of one and, in 2012, relocated from the basement to their very first rented premise. In 2013, they acquired a local Bathurst business and expanded their operations into the wider region, and in 2015, moved into their current, larger office space in Orange.
Colton Computer’s success has continued, and there are now 25+ employees servicing local businesses from around the Central Western NSW region.
