Office Coordinator for Colton Computer Technologies and CCT Productions.

About Us:

Colton Computer Technologies is the fastest growing IT provider in Orange, Bathurst, and the surrounding regions. Providing IT support and services to businesses in the local community. Without tooting our own horn too much, we’re running out of space on the shelves for the awards we’ve been winning, including employer of the year for the last two years.

CCT Productions is an audio visual and events company based in Orange and Dubbo, servicing the Central West. We provide lighting, audio visual, video production and event related services to our local community.

The Role:

The formal version: We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and detail orientated Office Coordinator to provide administrative support to our two Company Directors. The role is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day office operations, including a wide variety of administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, meetings, making travel arrangements, and managing correspondence. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

The straight up truth: The two Colton businesses are growing fast and evolving, and our 2 Company Directors need some wrangling. They’re really likeable guys, but we need someone who can help bring a bit of process to their working lives. This is a new position, so whilst we’ve got the above list of tasks, we need someone who can come in and deal with a little bit of fun chaos. You’ll need to have a great sense of humour as there is a lot of banter and random conversations with these two guys, and they’re both straight talkers. They are experts in their field and will benefit from someone who can coordinate on the go and tell them what they need. This is a great opportunity to make the role your own supporting our high energy leaders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support to our Directors
  • Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of Company Directors, including scheduling meetings, attendance at conferences, client appointments, arranging travel and accommodation and also managing correspondence
  • Assist in the coordination of staff rostering, setting up reports to track financial data, general data entry
  • Implementation of and ongoing utilisation of ‘Current’ software
  • Assist with event quoting, planning, purchasing and logistics
  • Assist in the implementation of new office policies and procedures
  • Coordinate office supplies, purchases, and expenses
  • Assist in staff rostering and resourcing
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment

Who are we looking for?

  1. 3+ years of experience in office management or similar
  2. Formal qualifications in business administration or related field
  3. Confident team player who can positively and respectfully influence a diverse range of clients, suppliers, and employees
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Outstanding multitasking and organizational skills
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  7. Knowledge of bookkeeping, work health safety and human resources principles
  8. Driver’s license
  9. Australian/NZ citizen or permanent resident
