Become a Colton IT Trainee

Technology is part of every aspect of our lives – what better career than working in IT? Colton Computer Technologies is looking for enthusiastic people interested in gaining practical, hands-on technical skills and industry certifications while getting paid!

The program is full-time, and you can complete it in 18 months. It includes dedicated training hours and one-on-one support from experienced team members. Once you’ve successfully completed the program, you will attain a permanent, full-time position as a real-world, skilled IT Support Technician with CCT.

We don’t work crazy hours or shifts like some other companies or employers – full-time means Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm while completing the Trainee Program.

The learning and training doesn’t stop there – everyone at CCT is continuously learning and keeping up to date with the changes and challenges in our fast past industry.

Who are we?

We are down-to-earth, bureaucracy-free, and focused on community. Our office uniform often includes a pair of boots and a polo shirt. The team jokes around a lot, but we also work hard. Colton employees are unique, innovative and dynamic.

These traits led to us winning the ARN Australia-wide Innovation – Regional award last year for our work around cybersecurity education and cyber-safe business practices.

Colton was named Employer of Choice in the Bathurst Business Awards in 2022 because of our awesome work culture, structured personal development training, and employee reward and recognition program. We promote from within and offer flexible working options for all employees.

Our head office is in Orange and we also have an office in Bathurst.  We service clients right across the Central West of NSW and sometimes further afield.
