Cyber security and compliance are crucial components to keeping your business data protected, but the list of requirements is long and complex.

To help make your life easier and ensure when working towards compliance through IT Security Frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS, we’ve developed a new security add-on option, Platinum Security Controls.

By implementing these controls, you will be significantly mitigating your cyber risk.

To be clear, no single product or plan will make you compliant in one easy step. Alongside our Platinum Security Controls, there are multiple internal steps that you need to take to ensure compliance. However, this new plan will enable you to align to Essential 8 Maturity Level 1 without additional cost.

Here are some of the potential risks that you would be reducing from a Critical/High rating to a Medium/Low Rating:

  • Ransomware attacks: Implementing application whitelisting can greatly diminish the likelihood of falling victim to ransomware attacks. By allowing only verified applications to run, you reduce the possibility that someone will knowingly or unknowingly download a potentially dangerous application onto your system.
  • Business Email Comprise: The implementation of a DNS Filter will enhance security by filtering out malicious or unwanted content at a DNS level, making systems less susceptible to compromises.
  • Supply Chain Attacks: By implementing MDR, you are introducing a team of experts with cutting-edge technology who can continuously monitor and respond to sophisticated threats that you’d be unlikely to pick up otherwise.
  • Comprised Credentials: The enhanced security capabilities provided by Entra ID P2 will protect your Office 365 tenancy by restricting access to apps and critical company data to those who require it. This access management reduces the risks associated with compromised credentials.

The Platinum Security Control plan covers one user and their one workstation. If someone has an additional workstation, it will be billed at the workstation add-on price. Servers will also be billed at the Server add-on price.

Vulnerability Scanner: Vulnerability scanners look at all software and systems on a PC and or the network and check them for known vulnerabilities this is logged and reported on so patching and mitigation of the vulnerabilities can be tracked and the risks managed. Already included in Managed Services Plan
Password Manager: This tool simplifies the process of generating, accessing and organising passwords, enhancing overall digital security. CCTs Password manager is integrated into Microsoft 365 meaning that users only need to remember one password and use one MFA token to access all company passwords, along with allowing users to share credentials securely. Already included in Managed Services Plan
